request for permission

Maiyoo Keyoh Whuz un'a Whuts'odilhti

The Maiyoo Keyoh holds Indigenous title to this territory.

The Keyohwhuduchun holds sole authority over it.

All access and all activities on this territory require her permission, individuals, companies, researchers, guides, agencies, and government proponents alike.

The IPCA is in effect. This form is how you begin.

A CROWN PERMIT IS NOT PERMISSION

A Crown permit, licence, or authorization does not grant access to the Maiyoo Keyoh.

Crown processes do not override Dakelh law,

the Indigenous title of the Maiyoo Keyoh, or the authority of the Keyohwhuduchun.

If you hold a government permit related to this territory,

THE FORM
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Submitting this form begins the conversation.

It does not grant permission.

The Keyohwhuduchun will review your request and be in touch.

Complete the form fully,

she needs the full picture to consider your request.

From 2017 to 2025, the Maiyoo Keyoh operated under a Natural Resources Referral Procedure Policy. The Request for Permission under the IPCA now replaces it. A past referral under that policy is not permission,

everyone submits this form.

The 2017 policy is retained as a historical reference on our Referral & Consultation page.
